I've designed most of my sites that I have and use. I have only one affiliate site where I use a 301 redirect. Right now it ranks decent on any number of search terms. My problem is, if you look it up on Yahoo, it shows the description under the URL when doing a search. When you search the term on Google, it shows the website URL, but does not list the description below it. I've looked through the archives to maybe find out a reason for this.

Any thoughts on why it does not show up?

Thanks in advance for your responses and thoughts.

Search engines hate redirects. It's a good way to lose your placement altogether eventually. But if you post the URL to the site in question, I'd be happy to take a look at it.
