Website header assistance required

Hey people.

I have got my website up and running (finally) and iv got some content.
I want to start driving traffic to my site, but the site could look allot better.

Its the default wordpress template because its simple. All i need is a nice header with a pic or two in it describing my niche..

The problem is, I have no idea were to start. I have tried creating my own one with Aviary, but im not getting anywhere..

It might be a cheek to ask, but would someone mind helping me create a quick header for my site? perty please? :rolleyes: nothing fancy at all, just something other than the default header..

  • I'm not sure about getting free graphic design work done for ya, but I'm sure you can get plenty of suggestions. I recommend finding a couple royalty free pics that are related to or evoke the emotion of your niche, fire up your favorite image manipulation editor (photoshop, the gimp, paint.net, et. al.) and play with the various effects.

    • You can also take a look at XHeader, a header creation tool which comes with a lot of example headers even in the free version.

      Maybe you find a suitable header or can edit one to fit your needs.
