Hello all, thank you very much in advance for all of your assistance. I am very, very happy to have found the WarriorForum. I've learned so much, but still so much to learn.

Here is my question and I know this is going to be simple, but as a newbie, I can't see what the next step is. I'm sure some of you can relate... Here goes:

I was given these review templates and they came in a folder that I just attached to my desktop. When I open them there are 3 other folders:

1) Images
2) Index (firefox document 8 kB)
3) Style (CSS file 3KB)

What am I suppose to do next to be able to use these templates so I can start modifying them for my reviews? I'm getting just a bit frustrated trying to figure it, researching and by trial and failing.

Thanks much for all of your anticipated assistance.

Well you need to open the index file in your favorite text or HTML editor. If you don't know HTML, it isn't too hard to learn, but if you don't want to learn it you can use something like dreamweaver. To modify a template you need to go into the body of the HTML and change the text to what you want... Change the images as you see fit...
The CSS file contains all the instructions on how things should look... like what fonts, what colors, spacing, shading, sizing, etc...
There are lots of tutorials around for HTML, CSS and such, sorry I'm running out of steam here, 1am... Message me if you have any troubles I'll help you out tomorrow.

Dreamweaver has a built in ftp client. It is the easiest method to work and upload files simultaneously.

I agree that Filezilla is awesome, it works on macs and pcs and it's free
However, I also like Fetch for mac. And like .warrior said, most profesional site editors have built-in ftp clients.

Thanks everyone... Dreamweaver seems to be the best for me so far. Thank you for all of your suggestions. I hope other newbies have learned something from this.
