I Point out Few Things which are Very Effective While Creating A Website

Things Remember While Creating a Website
· Select the right colors according to your audience taste.
· Use effective templates for attracting visitors.
· Provide easiest ways of navigation system.
· Display all important things short introduction at top of your website.
· Provide searching faculties for search right thing in your website.
· Large focus on background, it some did not match with you website features.
· Provides extra external links related to your website.
· Create user feed back facilities & be quick to reply them, if they interact.
· Provide site map at top corner of your website.
· Content is king, always use it in a right way to attract more & more reader attention.
· Display your contact number & several images of your organization's department.
· Don't apply too much special effects, it may sometime move your from your right mission.

Is their any thing which I Missed ?

    Hey Jason,
    Great list. The extra external links should be applied judiciously, though. For example, if you're designing a "money site", you don't want to encourage visitors to go anywhere except your affiliate links. If you want to be an authority site, don't send people to sites that are more feature rich or content rich than your own, or they might not come back. Just a thought.

    Here are a few more that I would add:
    -Make sure that your site has the "wow" factor, so that visitors cannot help but keep looking at the rest of your website
    -Make sure that you know your visitors very well and design the site around what they need to see. The site must be designed for them, not you.
    -Less is better. Only put what is absolutely necessary on your site, and no more.
