Graphics errors with WP

Hey guys,

I recently did a custom redesign of my WordPress URLs, to make them look like "/example-post/". But...

My main page has a few Social Media buttons on it, which also appear on all of my pages and posts (in the left sidebar). But when I did the URL configuration to customize it, the social media buttons were still on my main page, but had disappeared from my post pages.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks,
Vince

  • I'm not sure how to fix that, but I did check out your blog and it's nice, clean. The only thing is that I have a hard time figuring out what you're blogging about so why would I sign up (hypothetically). It's about Vince Caso, but what are your key topics of interest.

    Just trying to help.
  • I like your blog, its nice and clean, like the other guy said though, not too sure what your main blogging subject is?

    What theme are you using?

    • There's no specific "subject", necessarily. The blog is built around myself and my brand. I'm an e-celebrity with a popular web series called "The Guild". The blog is a means of connecting with my fan base and drawing more people to me. Sort of like "Fred", if you know him. YouTube star, making 10's of thousands of dollars a month just by being himself -- with odd, funny little Youtube videos and a blog.

The theme is Thesis. Anyone know how to fix the graphical errors?

      Thanks,

      Vince
  • It's because your icons have relative paths.
How are you configuring the URL's? Permalink Settings I hope.

Anyway, I assume that is a widget, in the widget in the src="
for the icons add the full URL, eg http://www.vincecaso.com/FBbutton.png

    • Brilliant! Thank you.

Yes, the URLs are configured in WP's built-in permalink settings.
