Hi everyone!

I've recently found a chap on this forum to create a mini webpage for me (really good with fancy headers, footers, background etc...)

I've been using Microsoft Frontpage to edit the webpage and when I hit 'preview' button - everything seems to be in order. (I see the webpage)

However when I upload the page, the webpage is missing and all I have is the text?

Can anyone help?

Thank you!

When stuff is missing it's because it hasn't been uploaded. So for example your web page is made up of on the page text and images- header, logo, background etc.

The images must also be uploaded in order to become visible online.

The images will be located either in the same place as the index file or in a folder titled 'images'.

Upload the images folder and its contents.

Your web page will then display properly.

Why? The guy above solved the problem for him.

Normally if a web page looks ok on your own PC and doesn't look right once it's uploaded is because:
    a) image/css files aren't uploaded.
    b) paths to files in the HTML are coded to your local machine ie: 'C:/Program Files/website/images/blah.jpg' in stead of just 'images/blah.jpg'
