Hi guys I want to send a newsletter to some old clients of mine, there is no point in signing up for an account with Aweber or icontact because its just one newsletter i'll be sending. I have about 250 clients email address so is there a program any of you could recommend?

Thank you.

What is the newsletter about? you could get someone in that market to mail it from their autoresponder if you don't mind sharing the list.

I presume you have the emails in a file that could be uploaded.

I would do that if it's the right market, get in touch if you are interested.

Depending how technical your skills are if you have a website that would let you mail that many without a spam filter stopping the mailing you could set up a script to do it from your own website. Most hosting providers will not send more than 100 emails at a time to prevent spamming.

You could also try something like this.

I am hosting a friends website who is a magician

He wants me to send out a newsletter to at least 250 of his clients. I just have to write the email newsletter thats all.

If you can send it off I would really appreciate it.

Well, its a very BIG topic and i can discuss hours over this, because i am a part of anti-spam web developments.

But just to keep things simple, if you are doing it not with the intention of Spamming. You can send those 250 emails over a time of one day. send 15 emails per hour. and we as antispam would not mind these first 250 emails.

But if you do this regularly, we(antispam) can catch your domain today or tomorrow and soon you would risk to get all your emails (even good emails) being delivered to spam folders.

How old are these emails? Don't mean to rain on your parade, but odds are good if it's been a while, most of your messages won't be opened and some might even be marked as spam.

If you're going to do this though, I'd try to personalize these things as much as possible, even if it means sending one at a time from your email account.

You might be able to use a hotmail or gmail account and just BCC all your recipients, but odds are good that might be viewed as spam and either never get out the door or get intercepted on the other end.

(I'd use a "throwaway" email account so you don't jeopardize your primary account just in case some folks are quick to mark them as spam.)
