Thesis WP Help - Comments Not Displaying

Hey Guys,

I'm really lookin' for someone to help bail me out. I upgraded my WP blog with Thesis a while back and have really been procrastinating an issue. When people go to the single blog post view, the comments section doesn't show up.

I've been to the DIY support and they say that the DIV is empty when they view it, but since I'm not a programmer, I have no idea how to debug this situation.

Is there someone that might know Thesis well enough to help me troubleshoot the issue? I've already turned plugins on and off and still can't resolve the problem.

If need be, we can discuss compensation.

      Which single .php file are you referring to? Sorry, I'm totally untechnical. I do know where the .php files are, but I'm not sure which one you want to see.

    In you WP dashboard, be sure that your comments are set to appear. If you are using Thesis 1.8, you would go to Thesis, then Design Options, then in the 3rd column Comment Options. In Comment Options, there are two sections to check - Display Settings and Comment Meta. Try that first.

    Yeah I think the issue is pretty "bad" when I go to the comment options all I see are check boxes without words next to them...

    Can I ask how you are accessing your theme options, (browser) some browsers, can have difficulty when attempting to access and configure certain types of options, I ran into a crazy problem some time ago and after spending a couple of days looking at what was causing the problem, I eventually changed to firefox and was able to then access all the features.

    just a thought, might be worth trying a different browser version.

      I actually am using Firefox. I find it does function the best.
