MUSIC WEBSITE HELP

Hi Guys,

Im just about to start building a new website which will be based on music downloads.

Basically i have copyright free MP3s which i want to market to a certain niche etc.

Just not sure where to get started really, i was thinking of having each tune listed maybe in categories with a maybe a 10-20 second sample then a automtic download upon completion of a transaction.

If anyone understands what i need to do and could feel that could help me out please hit me back!

    Hey Smartweb,

    Yeah i would say something sort of a long those lines, Maybe slightly different layout and abit more colour etc BUT i like the bit where you can click play and then buy.

    I did notice that each tune played for completely different amount of times, could this be altered so that you only play around 15 seconds of each tune (as a sample) or would that be hard work? The other thing is would those 15 seconds be protected (somehow) from people just popping in and stealing a 15 second clip for maybe a ringtone or something?

    you just need to make a simple script where you can upload the music and the cms do it all alone.i have seen one.
