kajabi commenting system (recreating it for free)

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to recreate the kajabi post commenting system within wordpress. Basically what Kajabi does is allow you to create comment types for when users post a comment under a piece of content inside your members area.

For example a "support" coment type, a "question" comment type, etc. Then in the backend you have choice of only making certain comment types visable to all users while keeping others hidden.

The great thing about this is that it can potentially reduce your time handling support and answering common questions since you can make the conent that other users will find helpful visable to all. It's like a self growing FAQ system.

I'm hoping theres a way to do this without kajabi. If not someone might be interested in creating a plugin to mimic the functionality as I think it would quite useful.

Here's how to do it, basicaly:

Facebook Comments for WordPress | A WordPress plugin that enables visitors to comment on blog posts using their Facebook account

The system is very easy to install, and works very well. I use it for blog comments, but I also run my main membership site on Wordpress and I use this plugin for testimonials, social proof, etc. rather than collecting that myself.

You can almost completely duplicate Kajabi with that plugin, and this:

Product Launch Wordpress Theme | Cheap Internet Marketing Tools

You just set your content up so that it's invisible unless you mail someone the link.

    1. Set up a squeeze page
    2. User gets on mailing list
    3. Set up mailing list to auto direct user to first piece of content
    4. Set up autoresponder sequence to send a mail with the links to the next content pieces
    5. Make the offer
    6. User buys the offer and is redirected to a thank you page with instant downloads, and an opt in form for registered members
    7. registered members list has an autoresponder that sends out links to membership content on day 1, 5, 30, etc.

The important thing to remember is to set up wordpress to not be indexed by the SE's if you want to do this and keep your membership material private. Also don't set up numeric permalinks, etc.

The only thing that this kind of set up wouldn't have is it's own shopping cart (you can add or use whatever processor you use), or the cloud stuff.

Thanks but I don't think the FB Comments plugin is anything like the comments system that Kajabi has. Kajabi has a members dashboard where members of your site can see all the comments/questions and answers to their own questions in one central place. I don't see how you can do that with the FB Comments plugin. The other issue with that plugin is how do you protect the comments/questions/answers if they post to Facebook?

P.S. I was going to buy Cheap Internet Marketing Tools Launch Theme until a couple days ago but bought the OptimizePress Theme instead (because they promise to have a perpetual launch thing working for it in about two weeks) just because it will do more stuff. Cheap Internet Marketing Tools has an awesome "live" webinar script that I'm going to buy from them though.

P.S.S. I highly recommend the Digital Access Pass plugin for drip feeding your membership site content.
