FF just won't let go of its cache lately

This has been a problem for years with css, but now it's happening with html too.

With css, sometimes ctrl+f5 would force it to reload the css sheet. Other times I had to go to history > show all history, right click on the site and select 'forget about this site.' That usually got rid of the problem, but lately that isn't working very often.

But a few times lately it's been doing that with html too. I'll make a change, it won't show up on the page, reload a few times, still nothing.

So I gave up, tried a web developer's cocktail. A quadruple brandy with tylenol, aspirin and Excedrin added. (I'm not serious. Inspired by a couple of smart alex comments around here lately, from Bill - mywebwork, and another one)

Come back a couple hours later and try again without having touched the source file again, and now it works. (snarl)

Does anyone have another way to get FF to reload when it doesn't want to?

OK great. Didn't know about that one. Just finished up the site I'm working on and will be out of town for a few days but will work that one out thoroughly when I get back.

    Thanks, best wishes,
