How much would you pay for a fully customizable CMS that will be native in a web design platform, and it will have tons of plugins/addons, and you wont need to code it to customize it, it will be interactive. So no coding!

The real question is how does this fabled CMS make my life easier than what can be had with Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla, or any other free open-source CMS?

That answer is critical to your marketing plan and your pricing.

Well, it's easy, you dont need to modify any code in order to customize it, and that is something you cant do in joomla, or wordpress or drupal, if you want to customize them you must do some "hacking" at the code and if you don't know coding, it will do your life easier. And you dont need to know anything, it will do everything for you, you just click or drag&drop. how much easier that could be?

Sounds nice, but how limited is the end user in customizing this CMS? I'll bet that with this kind of simplicity, there's a lack of flexibility.

I paid a lot more if this could be done ...
I wonder how the user changed the template (set a new personalized template) without knowledge of coding or web design ...

I think it is impossible to make such a CMS ...
Unless you would not use an automated templates which can be adapted rudimentary ...

It's taken me a year to write, but it can be done.

When mine is complete, which should be by the end of November I'll be charging £40 a year, which includes a domain name and hosting. As the site grows i'll either put the price up or start charging for add-ons.

It depends what you want from the site. Joomla and Wordpress don't really require much coding to get started and learning is much easier nowadays.

One of the major things that I would like to see as a designer, is a CMS, that allows you to make lots of graphics changed easily, header, footer, side bars, menu, backgrounds, ect.... on and on.....

Being able to not only move things around, but to also customize it fully and easily graphically is a major plus to me.......

Also, if someone did want to hack the code and tweak it if needed, to have the code fully commented out, so that even a baby could understand what does what....

Then just sell me PLR rights to it...........

I do not think your poll is realistic, because anything below 60.00 would be nuts.....

    maybe a poll with:

    60-80
    80-100
    100-120
    120-140
    140-160
    160-200

    would be better.........

There are already many CMS systems out there that can handle this (wordpress, joomla, drupal), including WYSIWYG. How is yours going to be different and stand out from the rest?
