Faulty DW?

Ever since I got my copy of CS5 I've had problems with it, now when I go to the assets panel and click on templates, there isn't one. But the template is quite cleary in the site, now when I try and update pages, DW says it cant find the file. This has happened to some sites and not others, I just don't understand it. Is my DW faulty

      I have rang adobe who couldn't give me an answer. I have since discovered if i move my template folder up a level into the root folder, it sees it, but for some reason all my images and text changes in the template when I do this. This is driving me crazy now...

    I got it sorted the problem was I wasn't defining the root folder so DW was creating one which in turn shoved my root folder into a sub-folder
