What was your breakthrough moment in IM, the moment when you realized what you needed to do to start making money on a regular basis? And what did you discover?

What was your breakthrough moment in IM, the moment when you realized what you needed to do to start making money on a regular basis? And what did you discover?
- What did you have to change to make it happen? ie: consistently write articles, post to your blogs more often, buy more PPC, change your keyword choices, improve SEO, find JVs, find better products to offer, write a better sales page, or something else?
- How much more work was required than what you had been doing? ie: 10 articles a week vs 1 article, increase your work schedule from 8 hours to 12 hours, etc.?
- How soon after making those changes did you see a significant improvement in your income?
- How significant was that improvement? ie: make you self-sustaining (without having to get a JOB), give you enough to fill the gap between your income and your needs, etc.?
- Did your changes improve your income while reducing your work schedule? ie: you could still make money over the long term without having to consistently be marketing?
- What's your best advice to others who are struggling to break through that barrier from barely showing on the Richter scale to actually making good money with their online business? (please be specific - ie: "be more consistent and take action" is too vague and has been said a million times.)
