Wordpress Design Cardinal Rules
Hi all.
I'm in the process of writing a brief to have our website designed by someone. This will be a wordpress theme website for our real estate business (property management).
Our objective, is to capture more market share in our local area while competing with the big boys. Thus, I want it to be search engine friendly (that will come from my content, links, ad words, etc.) however, it needs to be designed to convert.
My 2 questions:
1. What are the cardinal rules in website design to accomplish high conversion with a good friendly, and clutterless design? (Specifics would be helpful - I will be using this to instruct the designer in putting this together).
2. Should I have all the content finalized before having the design started and if so, is there a rule of thumb as to how much content is too much content?
Again, this will be a wordpress site.
