Wordpress Weirdness

Hello, I have been working this weekend to help my son with his review website, and Wordpress has been doing weird stuff that I have never seen before.

He basically put up a video with a bunch of Amazon affiliate links below it, and whenever we try to make changes to (update) the post, it wipes everything but the video out, all the amazon code just disappears.

I tried changing browsers but the same thing happened. Can anyone help with this? He wants to clean up the look of the post but can't. I want to change the permalink, but can't.

We keep having to go back instead of forward because the links keep getting wiped out and I have no idea why.

Any help would be appreciated.

    You're probably coming up against the WordPress HTML filters. I use the Raw-HTML plugin to get around this - and reviewed it here:

    Hi. When you make posts, stay in the HTML view, and NEVER switch to Visual. (Those are the tabs in the top right of your post box.) It means you have to put in your own HTML to format your post, but that only takes a few minutes.

      Thanks so much for the help, we fixed it up over breakfast and it looks a lot better now with the raw html plugin.
