What are some good tutorials for basic banner+content websites?

I don't know much about web design yet but I'm able to use Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks, and Dreamweaver. Basically all I need know is how to build a website with a banner, body, and a background. Also some help with formatting the content would be great.

Any help will be appreciated.

dude, I would just use wordpress on your domain if that's all you want and it be "easy". The plugins available and the css templates are amazing, free and easy as hell to use.

With dreamhost, you can install wordpress with a single click.
