Your thoughts on this would be most greatly appreciated.
My friends own an escrow company and it was time for a revamp of their old site. This is what I came up with.
Thanks in advance for taking a look

The 1st thing that jumped out to me was the fact that you have a giant header image of a bunch of people that takes an enormous amount of space. And that forces the contact box below the fold. Social contact buttons way at bottom too. That's a problem for me.

indeed it is a big slider. but i wanted a little more punch in this design. it does take up a good amount of real estate. but its the index page so a little change up never hurt eh?
thanks for hitting the site though you guys. i appreciate it. no one noticed anything busted or not working eh? any extraneousness load times on your end?

    looks good, great job!!

ive noticed alot of web design clients seem to want big headers or slideshows and always tend to go against other marketing 101 common sense

I like it a lot and will give you two bits of artistic assistance to help you out. They are minor but I think you will see what I mean. On the images you have color banners that are longer than the square images ( For Loan Officers, For Realtors, etc). See how it would look to center the images and make the banner under them the same length or just center the image. The last one is the twenty year seal on the bottom of the page. It has a blue background that gets squared at the edges. Why not just take the gradient blue background out and have the seal float by itself. The site looks awesome either way so great job!

I took a quick look at your design. And have some suggestions for you.

      - You should look at your hover-states on links and have similar effects and colors to make it easier for your users.

      - You break the grid which makes it hard to follow content.

      - The flashslider is nice, but it really doesn't add anything for me. You should work on the different states and CTA's, that are non existent except a small read more and the phonenumber. If I were you I'd switch to a JavaScript-based slideshow for improved dynamic and crawling.

      - The footer just melts together. I'd space that out over several lines and possibly add the topnavigation there too.

Looks pretty good. The only complaint I would have is the size of the flash on the page. Most people feel like its best to find exactly what you are looking for without scrolling instead of seeing the staff -- but that is just my opinion! Good job
