Need help with site

Hello Denise,

Do you have a WordPress blog attached to your site. That is must have these days. Search engines love to index the content that comes out of your blog. You could start out by just posting once a week and then more as you get into it. It's really kind of addictitive once you get going.

Also, if you do start a blog, make sure it looks like the rest of your site. This is important so your visitors don't get "jump shock" from your site to your blog. This can easily be done with Theme Master these days.

hi,

the site looks good, i don't see anything really wrong with it, but i think you may be missing out on a big benefit of getting that decent traffic now that your seo is paying off

i would put an opt-in form somewhere at the top of every page and give a really good incentive to subscribe

this will make sure you can turn that traffic into sales, later on after they leave your site

Providing fresh content, connecting with social media networks, and publishing related YouTube videos are ideas I'd pursue.

John, I do not have a wordpress blog attached to my site. Can I add this easily or do I have to use the domain fitnessandkids.com to do this? I would not mind adding a blog, iI have lots of content, but not using the current domain name since I am afraid of doing this. Would this affect my current rankings in google?

  Sure, Blogger.com has a high page ranking, make sure you create a backlink to your articles on your own site.
  What I do is use seoquake for Mozilla to determine the pagerank from any blog site. The higher the PR the better the search engines love those sites. meaning the higher a PR you get yourself.
  
  Also, if you blog on different sites and connect those blogs to each other (ONE direction only) you get a linkwheel, which increases you PR even more.

If you have a cPanel or DirectAdmin host, it just takes a few minutes to add a blog, and it can be on the same domain, as in domain.com/blog. I don't actually like blogs and prefer to use html pages with an rss feed. There is a script installer called Fantastico on cpanel, or Installatron on DA that does the install in a few clicks. But if you don't have those, it just takes a bit longer to install Wordpress.

You do get different opinions on blogs. There was a thread I liked where a guy took the top 10 sites for about a hundred different searches and checked to see how many of them were blogs. Not many were. He suggested that if it is such an advantage to have a blog, why don't they move more into the top 10?

They do take your presence. If I had one and I was offline for a week I'd be worried. (that might be just me) They have to be updated and they are much more prone to hacking than an html page.

I think the site looks beautiful, especially like the left background photo, and I like the color combo.

thanks to whomever welcomed me to the forum, ive been buzy and like i said, man, im really tripping, i thought skpe was only something u say on the old who wants to be a millioaire,woooooow,i dont even know how i managed this its cool, this is so far ouut tttttttttttttttt tttt,me the old dumb blonde thats been up for the last about 19 hrs trying to build a site and promte business, mannn,this soooooo surreal
