What should I check first to correct this error

I have purchased a site and the seller set it up in my hosting. I changed the DNS settings a day and half ago and all I see when I click on the url, is a blank page. It's a Wordpress site.

I have checked everything I can think of but I don't know what is causing it.

Any thoughts of where to start looking would be great

Cheers
Viv

start by clearing your browser's cache

and then flush DNS of your computer. If you don't know how to flushdns, then just reboot...

also, if you "view source" for the page, is that also blank? If your site uses any dynamic technologies such as php or asp then it's possible the code got broken when it moved servers.

how long ago did you change the DNS settings? Because it can take up to 72 hours for an updated DNS entry to propogate across all ISPs. You can try viewing your page through some proxy sites to see if maybe their ISP has the updated DNS entry already.
