How do I do this CSS in Wordpress???

I would Like to figure out to rewrite my wordpress CSS to do this effect.


css Zen Garden: The Beauty in CSS Design

If you notice, the background stays put and the front-scrollable-layer-with-text is what moves.


How can I rewrite my CSS to do this.

I can figure out the site construction and html....but CSS confuses the heck out of me!!!

  • If you want to create that effect in wordpress, it would be dependent upon the theme that you are using ...

    Converting html css to wordpress css is a fairly skilled task, and, like I say, would also be dependent upon your theme.

      I think ithemes has one -- but not sure that some of the "customizable" themes like flextheme and flexx theme might not be of help.

      Steve -- they want to have the effect integrated into their WordPress site.

      Yes, they can download the css file -- but that doesn't integrate it into WordPress -- and may, in fact, create conflicts

  • You can download the sample css file from that site, just by clicking on the link download the same html file... at least thats what it seems like to me.

    I think the css is what I have attached in the text file below.
  • It's nothing more than a fixed positioned div with an image background.
    What does your site look like? Do you have room for the image?
    Or does the theme need to be totally edited to make room for it?
