WP Help: How do I remove...

How do I remove "Just another WordPress site" and the domain name from the top of the page? I have the basic Twenty Ten 1.1 theme.

I'd also like to remove the "Proudly powered by WP" line at the bottom.

Thanks in advance!

    • I didn't understand this until I saw it in Steve's video, but after that this was helpful to me too! Thanks RG!

Select the FOOTER.PHP file on the right side...

Now delete the entire text from <div id="site-generator"> to </div> as shown here...

    • I whole heartedly agree that made it completely simple. I knew how to do that part but had no idea how to explain it. Visuals are everything!

  • Hi Serendipitous,

I made a short (4 minute'sh) video showing how to remove as well as change the 3 items on your WordPress site.

Hope this helps answer your question. Please let me know if you need clarification on anything - I love WordPress and would be happy to help
