500 internal server error with WordPress Atahualpa 3.6.1

Hi all,

I get a 500 internal server error when using WordPress theme Atahualpa 3.6.1, but when I go back to a standard template everything is working fine..

Do I need to change something in the theme settings or..??

Need some guindance please..

    Perhaps that theme is not compatible with your version of Wordpress?

    What version of Wordpress are you using, and how did you install the theme?

    Double-check the zip file to make sure that the theme folder is the first item you see.

    The safest way in my opinion to install a new theme is by uploading it via FTP. Just unzip the contents somewhere you will remember and then login to your hosting account via FTP and transfer the main them folder across to the wp-content/themes folder.

    Hi, if you still are having a problem, there are a couple of things you can also try I had this same problem for a while, with a couple of blogs, it was frustrating, because not only was I not able to install a theme, (any theme) but also plugins, so I just started deactivating plugins until I was once again able to install a theme or plugin, seems like it was an old version of an SEO plugin that caused it, but it happens from time to time.

    Let us know if you still cant get it fixed,

    I suggest you contact your hosting provider support, That 500 error is server side issue.
