Need WP theme help...........please!

WEB DESIGN

Hi warriors~
I need help with this one...I am using the
Twenty Ten 1.1 wp theme...

but I can NOT seem to figure out how to change the home page from the 'nothing found' message.
It is not a blog so I don't want it to be a "post''.....just a home page with link to 'join/register' along with intro text.

Anyone that can help point me in the right direction with how to do this is MUCHO appreciated!!
I really wanted to get it launched this weekend; but not being a programmer (most files are php)..........I can't figure out how to make this work.

You don't need to be a programmer... however, you need to learn the tool you are using. THat's just common sense, isn't it?

wp-admin > Settings > Reading... see what is there, click the (contextual) Help button, learn.

Thanks for that........now I feel a little dumb, but I'll feel a little smarter soon LOL

Had looked through all the theme doc. etc etc...
I have a knack for making things harder than they need to be for some reason

You were reading in the wrong place...
What you want is NOT theme-specific: it is understanding the basic features of WP.
