A Basic Question (I think) about backend site structure

So I have a pair of domains now, and a blog setup at each. The root directory of each domain links straight into the blog. Is there an easy way to move these (wordpress) blogs from the root directory into a /blog directory? In other words, I want the domain to redirect to "domain/blog", thereby freeing up my root domain for a possible static homepage in the future.

Is there an easy way to do this, or am I in for some hassle?

  • Yes, you can do it. I can't remember exactly but you have to change the directory path in your config files.

I did this a while ago , but everything was hard coded, so I cannot recall step by step how I did it.

    But yes, it is possible.
  • Planet,

Wordpress provides step-by-step instruction on how to do this:
