Hey all guys i transfered my template file to my root folder i.e public_html folder of my domain and in the file mangare i even see the template folder but why is it not showing up on my site ?

Does it need time to show up you know like DNS changes take time to show their effect

Or is there any other way to put my template manually like in wordpress there is an option of uploading theme
#dns #show #site #template #web #website

If you have transferred the domain from another hosting to yours, then it will take some time. But if you have not, then it should appear there.

Sending a link to your domain will be helpful for us to figure out whats wrong.

..it seems like you didn't upload all the files of the site !

Are you using Wordpress ? If so, you need to upload all the files of the site and the template files in the proper folder !

It's NOT in the right folder. That simple. I have made that mistake before myself. You need to put it in the proper folder in order to see it.

If the template is in folder you need to open the folder and upload everything one by one. You can also use the clr key to select all and upload to the public_html.
See, the templates come with images. So open the folder up and upload them.

E.g if your template is in a folder names template folder. You need to open that folder then upload everything in that folder to your root folder.

I hope this helps at least.

If i do so will they all not get mixed up .

And no im not using wordpress ,please read my original post please .

You have not uploaded anything. Maybe you have uploaded into the wrong place or the wrong domain ( since you said you uploaded to public_html )

Do you see the index.html file INSIDE the public_html folder ?

Mike, he or she said that she has uploaded the folder to the public_html folder, but if you go to her domain you will see NOTHING in there.

So either she has uploaded to the wrong place or to the wrong domain, which no one mentioned here

                        Yes - the public_html folder.

It's not that we don't believe you - it's just very strange that when you access your url - it shows nothing.

A screenshot may well give us all a clue.

Even if the FOLDER is uploaded, atleast it will show up in the index -/ page, which is not, so it is simple, that he or she is uploading it to the WRONG domain.

You first need to un-zip the zip file and then drag the contents into your public_html folder.

Typically when you want to upload a template package to your own site, you will download a zip file which holds all the files and folders. Once the zip file has downloaded to your computer you need to un-zip it with a special program like WinZip or 7-Zip usually by right-clicking it and selecting "Extract Here". All of the zip files contents will be extracted to the same location the zip file is in.
Then you want to open your FTP program and drag all of the contents that was just extracted and drop it into the public_html folder.

*If there is not a file called index.html in the contents, then anything you upload to your public_html folder will not show up automatically. So if you have a file named salescopy.html or something similar you will need to rename it to index.html before uploading it*

No offense, but I think perhaps you should do a little more research on how to upload files and manage your hosting before you accidentally delete too many other things.

Perhaps try searching on youtube for "how to manage web hosting" or something similar.

I'll still upload the short video for you as a starter.

do you want a screenshot of my file manager of my cpanel...?
No, I want a screenshot of your FTP when connected to the server and showing the files you uploaded to the public_html folder

It doesn't matter what you think you did - the facts (what is visible on the net) tell us you have no idea what you did and the files are not uploaded where you said they were. OK, I will repeat it: the files are NOT where they are supposed to be.

The whole thing has nothing to do with the files being zipped. So, you can skip that video.

The problem is - the files are NOT where the OP thinks they are
