If I understand you correctly, you want your purchased Godaddy domain to point to your new site. There are a couple of ways to go about this. If it is a free site, you can use domain forwarding. Log into your Godaddy acct, choose the domain you want to manage and click "Manage Domain". You'll find some icons at the top of the screen, one which will say "Forward". Select "Forward Domain" from the drop down window and follow the directions.

If you have paid hosting, the webhost will have provided you with nameservers. While in Godaddy's domain management area, click on "Nameservers", then "Set Nameservers" from the drop down menu and follow the directions.

I hope this answers your questions. Good luck with your site!

I gave up trying to point both GoDaddy and 1 and 1 domains to Google.
You need to do something called "site mapping". It only works with sub domains. ie www dot your domain or blog dot your domain and not http://yourdomain.

    Hi Technista..

You are always there to answer a problem or any question asked. Thanks my friend. I went back and waited for the response from GoDaddy and Secureserver, but like eric said, site mapping is only good for sub domains..

Initially, this is a client site for SEO works i offered. i always prefer to buy an indipendent host rather through G Sites.

It wasnt for forwarding. The client bought the domain and i wanted the domain to be 'active' www.clientsite.com rather than 'https://sites.google.com/clientsite' and custom the Google site from within.

Initially i wanted to transfer a google site which she had completed but signup with different account id to the purchased domain (which is in another new account id). See, the client have two separate Google Site account.

I'm still looking for answer to this. i tried almost everything. cant get the seo works to start bcause im still waiting for the second secureserver response.
