Is there a wordpress theme like this?

First of all, I want this to be "plug and play" completely - no worrying why things don't fit when they look like they should, no spending days just trying to change a color or a header. No coding WHATSOEVER.

Want to be able to change the header at the top of the page, and the color theme, EASILY. Want to be able to set up one and clone it easily for more sites. Want it compatible with wpzonbuilder. Want good responsive support if I need it, but want it so simple that I won't need to contact support at all.

Ok, that's it - whatcha got?

    Your looking for a silver bullet, and there isn't one. Did someone tell you , you can go online download a theme, do no work and be rich in a month? They gotta stop advertising they make everything seem so easy lol.

    • Ok, this is good information - so are you are saying that the wordpress platform has not gotten to the point where you don't have to do a lot of messing with it, no matter that you pay for a premium theme?


      I can crank out XsitePro sites all day long, but there is just so much functionality being written for wordpress in the forms of plugins, such as wpzonbuilder, that I want to use wordpress. But, I want to be building a business, not futzing with the site details.

      And no I'm not talking get rich quick - I'm just talking about wordpress.

    Many premium themes come with fairly flexible backends that give you a lot of custom options. You could check out woo themes, elegant themes, studiopress, themeforest etc... and see if you can find something that fits your needs.

    You are either good at tweaking WP themes or you outsource it. What is so complicated?

    The deault WP 3 theme - TwentyTen - has, actually, more features than most of the "premium" themes; people are just lazy to look into it... yet they want the silver bullet.

    In my books there are only 2 options:
    you either learn the tool you are using or you hire a pro gun to do it for you.

    The rest is just empty talk

    I'm not trying to complicate anything - just want basic information.

    So you are saying all themes have to be tweaked, is that correct?

    That is what I need to know.

    If the only way to work with wordpress is to either really learn the platform or hire someone to do it, that is good information.
  • No, none of themes has to be tweaked. You can use all of them as they come.

    Most non-experienced WP users think that using WP+themes is a shortcut to "design" sites to their own liking. No, it is not a 'site design tool'. It is a content publishing tool and it does a helluva good job in that regard...

    You did the same mistake in your OP. You want a theme that would do a "design-my-site-as-I-want" job with simple clicks. That's a nonsense.

    As for your other question: when I say learn the platform I don't refer to the design/theme part. I am always thinking about the features that exists inside WP, at everybody's fingertip in the wp-admin... people just never take a look at them and they use WP very inefficiently.

    Looking for a theme should be the very last thing you do when setting up a WP site... and the most irrelevant when it comes about the success of the site.

  • I think you want to try the Thesis theme by Chris Pearson. It has a little bit of learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it's 100% customizing fun and flexibility.

    • or just take that learning curve and apply it to the wordpress core. You will learn to do everything thesis does and then some.

    For this header easy uploader, and changing color of the buttons, on navigations, i am using Thesis theme and recommend it too.

    It allows you to try for 30 days, with money back guarantee stuff, and it seems that you look for.

    But the support forum is not "really" responsive to me, not sure to others.

    However Thesis is is an easy theme when it comes to color, and header logo..

  • You know how it is, all these guys jumping into offline marketing who have no idea what they are doing when it comes to programing and design. Find an easy to modify theme that they can turn around and sell to local businesses for $500+

  • Once you figure out how to organize widgets, you can customize just about any theme. Themes seem to be already setup to be usable out-of-the-box.
