getting internal server error. sorry to be the bearer of bad news

Edit - Seems to be working now

site looks pretty good, you should try to bring the header up a bit to try and get more above the fold,(you could move the image with the 3 sites up closer to the logo ) but other than that, a valiant first WordPress effort

Hello, your page looks good but I might make a couple suggestions if I may

    1. the font on the slogan is hard to read because it is small and has too many curls

    2. the font for the word Brandasaur - it is okay until you get to the "aur"

    3. I would remove some of the spacing between the logo and graphics

I love the name. Great idea ~!

If so, how did you get 2 accounts? I thought we were to only have one personal account on the warrior forum?

Your site looks ok... more like a brochure than an actual website though. However, why would you need WordPress to design and implement this? A few lines of HTML in Notepad++ would be much cleaner-from a programming standpoint.

Looks awesome. Also if you need to use custom fonts with your theme then have a look at "cufon" javascript library. It let's you take any ttf font and convert it to js. I'm sure you can make your theme look even better with cufon.

Your design is cool but i suggest to make a little more (brighter). But I think you just overdo the dark layout over there, just a suggestion though...

    What is your target group?
I would not have hired a designer who does not know to optimize your own site.
Remember, even if you know all about on-page optimization, user sees what you've offered him.
In your case a site that is not optimized. The user may conclude that you do not know your job. Perhaps you forgot to web dizjn not the same as graphic design.

I think your design is adequate to the portfolio of an artist, Before than the web designer.

In other words, design appropriate to the activity of brend designing (your first topic), but not for the landing page design and custom wordpress site (second and third topic).

Honestly, I like your graphics, but I think it's not appropriate to the service that you offer.

To be honest i have not done any optimization as i am finalizing first my design before doing any optimization. I do not like to drive customers on my page while it is not yet done so seo is not a topic here.

    edit:

updated the header (the monster is just a font that i just colorized) i will have my own mascot soon

    Hey bran,

As far as the design aspect goes, looks very professional. Just one thing though, I'm looking at the page through chrome your Facebook fan button is sliced off and looks misplaced, is this intentional? Other than that, just make sure your site loads fast and you can go from there :-)

Great design. It is most important to get something out there. A perfect look is not necessary. Look at Google, or Craigs List, CNN, or Wikipedia, or all the big sites out there -- they have very few graphics.

So don't worry about the design, it looks fine.

I will tell you one thing that you MUST do for this site though, it loads way too slow.

There is a way to solve this problem with a Wordpress plugin. There are two steps actually:

    1) Cache the pages -- You need to get a free plugin called W3 Total Cache to cache the pages.,
    2) Use a "CDN" or "Content Delivery Network". I have explained exactly how to do this: You get an www.amazon.com account (just like you would buy a book), then go to http://s3.amazon.com and open an S3 account, then you will have a page in the AWS control panel that says something like "Security credentials", create a secret key, it will have two parts (the key and the secret key), and copy these into a word document, then go to the W3 Super Cache and turn on the "CDN" which is the "Content Delivery Network" and put in your S3 key. Then go to the home page of the S3 Super Cache and press all the buttons for uploading your entire Wordpress includes and images to S3. When you make changes in the future, it takes this plugin about an hour to post the changes, so you can always clear the page cache in this plugin if you make changes. Experiment with it and you will see what I mean.

One design note: when you use a background that is near black, don't use grey text, use white or the closest to white that you can get without being "FFFFFF".

        Hi there!

Can't get your links to work, but I'll reply based on the homepage.

When I evaluate websites, I must first know what the website's intention is.

Do you want to get people to sign up with their email for something?
Are you selling a product or a membership and want people to buy something?
Do you want people to click a certain button or do something?
Do you want people to be informed or engaged (not necessarily buying or doing anything)?

(And, if all of the above, what is the most important?)

Then, I look at the webpage and ask the 3 most important questions that must be answered straight away or I know the audience will lose interest and click off quickly:

        Where Am I?
        What Can I Do Here?
Why Would I Want To? (or, What Will I Get Out of Being Here and Doing That?)

I look at your site and get:

I get that I'm at a brand building business' website based off of your tagline, but looking at what you offer I think you're actually a designer.

I get that you are informing me of your services and that I can click to see examples on the blue links in your text. I get that I can sign up to have you contact me if I want.

The first two questions are well answered. Kudos! Now, my only remaining question is: why would I want to? Why are you different than any other designer out there? What will you give me that makes it worth my time? How do I know I can trust you to be different?

Offering some client testimonials below may be awesome to create trust and credibility. Be clear on why I'd want you. Perhaps try making a check list of "IF you are looking for: + work delivered on time and on budget, + a website that works from the beginning without bugs, + a designer that gets you, + more time to yourself to do what you want to do because you won't be fixing a site that isn't what you wanted....then you've come to the right place!"

A few ideas. Hope this helps!

Looks good, but the header graphic is HUGE. Over 500K. It's a .png - see if you can save it as a .jpg, all it needs is a black background and you can make it less than 100K no problem.

i know i can't make it black because the detail on the bg image will be covered...i already found a better way to fix it as i've said before the images are not yet optimized.
