I'm looking for a video player program that i can add to my website that will play videos hosted on my site. I don't want to upload the videos to another website and embed, I'm hoping somebody could help me out, thanks! Preferably a free option, but a reasonably priced option will suffice. Thanks again.

JW Player is nice. I own a license. If you're using it for commercial purposes you need a license.

If you're looking for something free, check into Flow Player.

I'd like to use the JW Player but I'm not sure if I require a license. I plan to pop it on my blog which is about internet marketing. Would this be classed as commercial use?

If you're selling any products or have any affiliate links on your blog, I'm guessing you'd need a commercial license to use the player.

I was assuming so aswell but just double checking...I've been looking into FlowPlayer and it seems that their free version is allowed for commercial use as long as you don't remove the watermark and copyright notice.

Seems like a good option aswell...Ever tried it?

    flvembedd (wp plugin)
    Flowplayer
    JW Player

Or, if you are using Wordpress you can simply do a search in the plugin section of your blog for video players.

I agree, flvembed (one I use the most), JW Player and Flowplayer.

I like JW Player because it seems to stop some of the downloader programs/plugins. Keeps some people from downloading your videos.

Be warned about Flowplayer though, it messed up the featured section on my Wordpress blog, think it was the javascript. Just so you know.

Actually I came here to ask if any one knew of a avi player plug-in, then it dawned on my to just convert the avi's to flv with camtasia. With the batch processing feature it was a snap. Also much smaller file sizes, so faster loading and less bandwidth.
