Hey team,

I made a website and i want it seo'd to the max, basically using market samurai i just checked my own url to see the actual seo competition.

Market samurai is saying that my website isnt 100% seo'd for my target keyword.

Basically the keyword should be in the Title, url, desc, head,

I have 3 Yes's BUT im missing the head, the head says N = NO

Im sure the head is referring to <h1> header tags BUT i have no idea how to access them to put my keyword into it.

My website has been done with wordpress so if anyine knows how to do this please let me know and your help will be really appreciated

Thanks

    Hi,

    login to WP.
Go to your post and click edit.
See to the right where it says HTML.
    Click that tab.

    On the top put in:

<h1>keyword and some text if you want to </h1>

Save it. Update your post and done

    Regards,

Hey thanks for that, just one question though you know the h1 tags for use with seo is it the post or the page that has to have the tag?

      Thanks

Usually in WP the titles are in a heading, depending on what theme you have, if not check where WP enters the title of the post in your there, and change the surrounding tags to <h1> tags, if they look messed up (too large or whatever) give them a class="post_heading" and adjust your .css to include

        .post_heading { font-size: whatever; }

h1 or h2 or h3 should work for seo, your theme may not be using them?
