i am literally going to filter , vanishing point , create my grid , then ctrl + V. as soon as i paste, the text shows blown up.

i dont know why its doing this. is it a bug? see attachments

dude. there is a waaaaaaaaaaaaay easier method for getting this done - without using vanishing point.

open up the two pics in photoshop. copy and paste your design into the picture of the actual billboard. then choose 'free transform'.

now, the free tranform will give you a bounding box round the image that has 8 points on it. ur only interested in the 4 corner points. hold down CTRL and click and hold your mouse button on the top left hand corner. drag this to the top left hand corner of the billboard picture. then do the same with the right hand corner too. Do it will 4 corner. Remember to hold CTRL button when doing it, that is key.

Photoshop will sort out the perspective for you. Quick and simple!!!

ALSO, meant to say. when doing this, your image has to be rendered as pixels. If you've pasted it in as a smart object, it won't do it.
