If you don't know anything about coding a site, you need to go with Word Press. I use it on all of sites and I absolutely love it. Your site looks pretty good and you could easily find a theme that would come close to that layout or even pay someone to put together a custom Word Press site for you.

Even if you don't migrate to WordPress, I'd suggest an overhaul of your site and get away from frames.

Your current configuration shows the main URL regardless of what page you're on, which while not impossible for search engine robots to crawl, makes it pretty hard to send someone directly to one of your subpages. For example, what URL could I use to go straight to your Services page? See what I mean?

I'm pretty sure this will help with your site's SEO visibility as well.

On another note, you could install WP at www.straylightmedia.com or even blog.straylightmedia.com without having to redo the whole site in WP.

To find themes, you need to use the search engine. Sign-up for Elance to find quality service provider. The whole process wouldn't take longer than a few days, its cheap and hassle-free for you.

You can even tell your designer to help you doing the online setup.

I like both because Wordpress is the best way to manage and maintain a website but HTML also has advantages to create interactive webpages for nay website.

Like most others already said - Wordpress is the way to go. Quick & Easy updating once the site is setup.

And when you do feel the need to make coding changes, design changes, etc that are outside the scope of your knowledge - Wordpress developers are also easy to find

If want a hassle free task then opt for WordPress. They give you everything cooked!
But if you don't want to rely upon any third party then you must code your website with HTML, CSS and PHP at-least.
The later has the advantage like more customizable options. Though WordPress too gives customization facility but you have to do it their way.
