I just created a WP theme, but do you think there may be too much red in it ? Your opinion would be welcomed . . .

    yes, I would make the content part white.
    it's too hard on the eyes but I like the actual design

    I agree. Way too much red.

    Try making the content area white, but keep the post meta (date, time, etc..) color the same as it is.
