My database entry is going slow

Dear friends
I need help! Database is being slow in process. I see that when I post/edit any post via Wordpress, I do slowly
I ask it about to my webhost company they said me go in phpadmin and optimize and then repair it
I fellow instruction
as Database > phpadmin > check all files > then optimize = Result OK
again do for
check all files > then optimize = Result "The storage engine for the table doesn't support repair"

What I do please help

    it looks you have some corrupt innodb table which is unable to repair by phpmyadmin, ask your web host to repair it from command line/shell. It maybe innodb table, if you have old backups try to restore the corrupt table with old one.

    if you are using wordpress, find out an sql plugin to tweak your queries and database
