Send form data to email question

I tried to get some help in the programming forum, but too technical and no real answers. Maybe I will have more luck here, I hope.

I have been spending hours trying to find a script and how to program my form to send the data to my email. I am plum wasting way too much time downloading scripts that I can't get to work and getting confused.

Can anyone help me get my form data to go via email to me? The best I could do was get it to generate an email and then the person who generated the data would have to click the send button. Somehow, I don't think that works. i have never had to do that when i fill out a form on the web.

So if anyone can help me, I would be so happy. If you want to just connect the script to my form for a fee, that would be great. As long as I could edit it for multiple forms as I have six on this site I think. I don't have a lot of money, so if this is costly, then I probably can't do it. But somehow or other, I have to get this done as someone is waiting on me. So will someone please help me.

      Yes, that is what I need to do. I have various forms on different pages that are looking for different information, which I want to send to my designated email address.

      I would want to be able to edit the data collected, and the email address for which to send it to. I also will want to be able to use this on a number of different web sites. in the future.
