Flash Video As A Cell Background?

I know that some of the worlds best web designers are here on this forum so I hope you can give me a how to answer. I'd like to make the background of a cell be a flash video.

I'm putting together a new site for myself and trying to figure out how to put a flash file into a cell as the background. You can see my rough site at The Foley Internet Marketing Group . It would go where the picture of the two guys shaking hands in the header is.

I had someone do the graphics for me.

Thanks in advance.

I'm going to go with "you can't". not the way you are describing anyway.
that's a "style effect", which deals only with static items, not "OBJECT" type elements.

Closest you could get that way is to use an animated image (e.g. gif)

An alternative method would be to take your cell and embed the video into it as per normal.
then float your content element (such as a div) over the top. then use transparency to show the video through it.

Getting the layout right would be tricky though. and it might not work if the player is a windowed control. (combo boxes are for example, but divs are not) as windows are always rendered above windowless in IE.

      Hi Roger,

I think I've seen it done but haven't found a solution yet.

      Thanks for your reply.
