Higher Level Website Creation...

Im talking about being in business as a website visionary... Attacking website creation from a content creator and marketer mindset. Not a programmer, dont particularly wanna be, personally.

My question is what is the best way to go about this?

Let me clarify,

I've been less than satisfied and lost a bunch of money with "hiring a programmer" who creates a black box and charges me for words and processes that look like russian-neese to me.

Since then, I've learned seo, marketing and ebusiness e. I've got a handle on wordpress, and all the fundamentals. Which are really the most important anyway. (cuz with those you can do anything... as they never change, no matter where you go, or what you do.)

Anyway, what im thinking is put together the team of people that i can pass along my plans and pieces of projects along to, so i can focus on the bigger picture.

I know how to think through what a website needs and why... but i dont want to touch any code.

I want offer my services for a couple dozen clients to gain the experience and put my most valuable assets.. "my mind and problem solving skills" to use to fund my passion project.

Can this be done? Any tips?

Main Question #1
Should i stick to wordpress, and hire a go to customizer... or should i spring for an in-house coder and just build php/mysql sites?
Should i go with a different platform?

Main Question #2
What would the ideal team be... i mean i know what id need, but maybe some of you with experience in going about a similar path can share some insight into things like... what to hire someone full time for, and what to just task out, etc...

Anyway i want to... No, i NEED to make this work.
