Hello Warriors,

I really need your help on this. I have made some research already but I just can't find the right steps and codes.

On our salespage, we have 4 sub download links and 1 main download link. This main download link is found at the bottom of the page, and then the 4 ones are scattered on the upper section.

Now, I need your help on making this possible. If ever I am going to click any of our sub download links, I will be redirected to the location of our main download link.

Your inputs are highly appreciated.

Thanks,
MagicLouie

  • I don't think I understand the question, are you saying, when someone clicks the sub link, it downloads then redirects the user to the main link?

    • No, it will still be on the same page but it will scroll down and then the visitor will now be seeing the main download link.
  • I guess you need a good design that allows users to focus on your download links.
  • so they click a link and it auto scrolls to the spot for the link?

    in that case just use

    <div id="linkname"><a href="link">download</a></div>

then add #linkname to the end of the url for the page
  • For future reference the type of link you wanted is an "Anchor" or "Named Anchor"

    • I think you want anchor tags and link to the anchors is what it sounds like to me.
  • why dont you just put a link of the downlink within the top 4 and autoscroll is also a good idea
