Is there something wrong with my site design?

Hi All

First let me apologize if I am putting this in a wrong place because I am not sure if my problem is with my site design or something else.

My problem:

I am getting a lot of traffic to my WP autoblog from Google but most of it goes to pages which are not on my blog and the visitor gets "Page not found" error on my site.

Now I wonder that if the page is not on my site how does Google send traffic to it? To check this I went to Google and found that my site was listed on the results page though that page was not there.

Is this something to do with my web design? Or is this happening because this is an autoblog? Or something else altogether?

I am at a loss why this is happening and would be grateful for your help.

Looking forward to your help

Thanks in advance
Togdil

I have just checked both sites listed in your signature link and it is working fine and loads very fast. I was wondering whether you have fixed the problem. Thanks.

The site in question was not in my signature when I started this thread but now I have put it there at the end on 3rd line to avoid putting its url in the post which may not be allowed by the forum rules

Please look at that site and see if you can find something.

You could always redirect page not found traffic to the homepage.
From your reply and thinking over the problem I think this started because I deleted some duplicate posts by a plugin. This could be the reason because those duplicate posts may have been crawled and could be sending visitors. I tried to restore those posts but can't do it.

Now the immediate solution seems to be redirecting the no found traffic to home page as you have suggested. Can you please tell me how to do that?

Thanks again to both of you for taking time to answer my question and helping me.

Would be looking forward to more help and suggestions.

      PS:
Solved the redirection problem by googling about it.
