Hi everybody,

I'm John, and I just joined the Warrior Forum tonight.

I've been so impressed by one of the marketers that's from
the forum that I had to check it out.

Q: Can a WordPress site be moved from the hosting company
where it was created to another web hosting company?

I would appreciate any feedback anyone can offer, and the
procedures involved. I am a bit familiar with MYSql databases.

Thanks, and I hope this is within the Warrior guidlines.

      John,

      Welcome to the Warrior Forum.

There is a product called wp-twin, I think. This allows for quick Wordpress site moves and handles the database issues that come along with a WP move.

Let us know how it goes.

Probably the easiest way is to get the new hosting company to import your site. Most of them offer that service to new customers.

Another plugin (although it is a paid one) that will do the trick is BackupBuddy.

    Cheers,

    Martin.

As suggested above, the easiest way is to have your new host to move your site/s. Any decent host will do it for you without comments.
