Html help needed with my website

WEB DESIGN

I uploaded my website through kompozer but i am unable to see my background image i used a css template.The website address is Little London Angels Nursery Dubai LLA Nursery Dubai in my computer when i open the index.html its showing me the website fine.

I would get rid of Kompozer and use some other free html editor. Kompozer has a habit of screwing up and playing with your code. I've seen it time and time again.

1. Wrong forum - there is a Web design subforum where this thread belongs.

2. My bet: you did NOT upload the images, only the files. It is visible on your computer because it is calling the images from the HD, but not visible from other locations.

Make sure that the background image location is correct. Sometimes it is uploaded into wrong place and you even don't notice it.

If you go straight to the image location (images/tail-top.gif), this is what you get:

http://redirect.main-hosting.com/error404.php/4

There is no image file there. Looks like either you didn't upload the images, or they are named incorrectly.

Just check your Master CSS and look for background property and if it not has been defined then please define it or check for location of image.

You have to upload the images to the server also. Also make sure the folder order is correct in the link of the bg image.

Ohh and for a free text editor for windows, coffee cup or notepad ++ are good. For a mac, I have heard a lot of good things about bb edit.
