looking for some pointers on WP site

I made "wix.com/raphaelb30/testpage" as an outline and I'm trying to make a similar wordpress. To begin,

1. Do you know of any free themes that would not be difficult to modify similar to this? At the moment I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of those sidebars in the two column wp's and the comments on the bottom.

2. Does such a flexible shopping cart exist? (click packages). When you click on an item there is a drop menu with the different options. Is there something that can be organized neatly with the numerous options to the packages?

  • Look for themes at wordpress.org. Given the kind of website that you plan, Paypal buttons should be more than enough.

    • The answer is yes, multi option shopping cart sites do exist. Hooray!

      But they are not free because they are the dogs.

      All of the free or super cheap carts have lots of functionality but it is much, MUCH less than the funcionality of a top spec shopping cart which have endless possibilities and do everything except turn your bed down at night.
