Why Does The Thesis 1.8 Control Panel Look Like This?

This is my first ever install of Thesis. From the screen shots and help tutorials that I have seen my screen doesnt look right. Can someone please help me out with this? I installed everything through FileZilla and changed the permissions as well as renamed the folder to "custom". Any and all advice would be very much appreciated! Thank you in advance!
