wordpress problem, anyone else?

I'm using WordPress 3.1., and I can't sort the posts in the Dashboard/admin area by date or post title. In my other sites, the newest post is always first but not on this site.

Edit: i just noticed it only happens with this theme im using, how could this be fixed?

  • I have many WP blogs, all using WP 3.1.3 (the latest version), and no, this issue has never cropped up with any of them.

    • I just went to one of the sites I have and played with the far right "Date" column and had no problem switching from latest to original postings back and forth..... I can't even guess what would be a problem....perhaps an email off to WP might shed some light....

    • Are there any dashboard settings to change the display? Otherwise you will need to edit the page programming (or go with another theme).

      I just want to ask what theme are you using? Is it a premium one? If so, you should contact their support or join to their forum community.

    • Yeah - the theme is adding javascript that is conflicting with your admin section. Either 1) the theme uses javascript in an options page and there is an error, or 2) the theme is improperly coded to not exclude its js from admin pages. Either way, it's a theme error and you should contact the author.
