First eCommerce Wordpress Theme, Please Help!
Hello everyone,
I am looking to buy a Wordpress theme with ecommerce capabilities. It is
my first ecommerce site, so sorry if my questions are too basic.
The theme I am looking at features: WP-E-COMMERCE 3.8.1 Ready and a eCommerce plugin.
What does it mean? Is ecommerce plugin the same as a shopping cart plugin? If a theme I buy comes with a shopping cart plugin and I would like more features and options, can I use a different plugin?
I am looking for a theme that will be used for a natural products company that sells to consumers and wholesale and the client is looking for: -a site with shopping cart -a different type of account or membership for distributors where they can see the wholesale prices and also have more information about the products.
How can I do this? The wholesale prices should not be viewable for everyone. Is it possible that a wholesaler signs in and sees the same products with different prices? Or should the content and prices be somewhere else in the backend. If so, how can they buy those products?
