I'm kinda new to the forum so I hope I'm not posting this in the wrong spot. I understand about URL forwarding and subdomains...but how do I go about doing what I have seen in several emails such as....domainname/xxxxxx.
How do I go about having a URL and adding a website(xxxxxx) at the end? Sorry I'm not a techie so i don't know what the term is for the /xxxxx at the end of the URL. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You In Advance.

    Everything that is the "address" on the net; e.g. for your post:
    Code:
    http://www.warriorforum.com/website-design/407537-question-about-url-forwarding-extensions.html
    is a URL

    URL = universal resource locator

    example.com = a domain name; whatever is shown there is the 'root' of the domain

    example.com/something/ = the bold part is a subfolder or subdirectory; i.e. something placed under the root of your domain

    example.com/soemthing/file-name.html = the bold part is a html file (page) located at your domain in the /something/ subfolder.

    You create and/or upload the directories and files for your domain.
