Anyone downloaded the new Wordpress version 3.2?

I've just done this, and wish I hadn't!
In my admin dashboard, the complete left hand sidebar has disappeared, so I've got no pages, posts, appearance etc., it's just a completely blank area where those items used to be.
Anyone else had this problem, or got a solution?

Thanks

I've had no problems with WP 3.2 - upgraded 4 sites this afternoon.

Remember that the hosting requirements changed with WP3.2: you need PHP 5.2.4 or later and MySQL 5.0 or later. Also (just in case) IE 6.0 is no longer supported.

Apart from those things the usual suspects are plugins (highest probability) or your theme.

If you can get access to your plugins deactivate all of them then reactivate one by one. If the problem persists try switching to the default WP theme (TwentyEleven now).

This article describes the steps to follow in order to ensure a smooth upgrade, particularly with a major upgrade like this one:

    Good luck sorting it out,

    Cheers,

      Found the answer.
Wp-Insert plugin was not compatible with WordPress 3.2.

If anyone else has this problem:

      1) Login to your site via FTP.
      2) Goto wp-content/plugins/
      3) Delete the folder Wp-Insert
      4) Login to your WordPress admin.

Thanks for the advice abledragon. I would have got there eventually using your method, I just happened to find out from another source which plugin was causing the problem.

Updated this morning and Yikes!!!! Whats up with all that bold on the left? Fortunately didn't have any problem, but I am sure one will arise sooner or later among 200 WP sites.

As Martin stated, just shoot your FTP program and remove one plugin at the time to discover who the culprit is. Don't forget to backthem up, do not delete them ; )

Edit: I see you got it working. Great news.
