WP question - Making multi author website

Hello,
I have a wordpress site. I want people to register an account in my site
and become a contributor. So I wet to settings>>general and allowed "anybody can register". But I don't see any effect in front-end where people will have the option to register.

    You'll have to figure out what roles you're giving the people who register. Also, there might be a separate login page where users can sign in, so you might want to see if a page like that was created.
