HTML is hurting my brain

I downloaded a text template for a squeeze page.

The text template has html code in it. I tried to copy and paste all of it into the html section of Komposer, but the preview and normal view button just show the html tags. am i missing something?

    The image is not stored in the HTML code itself. The HTML simply points to where the image is stored on your computer or server. Therefore, look at the HTML code to see where the image is expected to be found, and make sure the image is in fact in that location.

    Make sure you have linked the Style Sheet Page. Also make sure the path for all the images are proper

    I know how you feel... More than 10 years ago when my son showed me first time the HTML code "behind" a simple webpage I thought no human would be able to understand it.
